The food was delicious, but the service was terrible.

I ordered the Fiskeplatte which offers a traditional dish, an open sandwich with sea food. Just ask to substitute the bread with a gluten free one.

It is already dairy free and there are four different portion in this plate, which is a cold one. One of the portions, the fried plaice fillet, is not gluten free but you can choose to double one of the other three portions which were:

Marinated herring topped with pickled red onion. This portion has very small and delicious capers. The seasoning is sweet.

Prawns with egg, lemon and mayonnaise. Light seasoning and good flavor.

Smoked salmon Tossed in freshly chopped basil, served with dill dressing. This one was my favorite.

Now the service. Staff seemed unbothered by our presence and took a while to get our order. I asked of they could serve with tap water since it is not a cheap dish, but they said they wouldn't. They tried to charge us with the water anyway. I was at the (dirty) restroom and they pressioned my fiancée to pay for me while I was out and wouldn't accept cash. He was trying to pay with the local currency, so it made no sense for us.

I ordered the cheeseburger, which they made with gluten free bread and a side of potatoes instead of chips, as the very kind and competent waitress knew and informed me that the chips were fried in a shared fryer. However, the service was generally pretty lousy. Our server kept changing, and no one except the one waitress knew anything about gluten free food. I asked one server if he could check what was able to be made gluten free, he said he would check, and never came back. Another server gave us the wrong drinks. We never got the jug of water we ordered. A very mixed bag, but if you're just after gluten free food, this place will work.

Lovely place And quick service. No gluten free menu but the waiter was helpfull. I ordered smoked salmon with avocado and toast. The toast was fresh, warm and tasty! And I got three slices, so more then enough! Would really recommand this!
