Staff doesn’t understand cross contamination. Especially with breakfast items. They have a gluten free pancake, but the cook and prep it in the same flattop as regular pancakes.

Bad experience. They told me to order a bowl of vegetables and tofu soaked in regular soy sauce because "that's what we recommend to anyone with food restrictions." I explained I can't eat soy sauce, so instead of asking the kitchen about gluten free options, they offered me the same bowl of vegetables and tofu doused with plain oil. I ended up having to leave. (This was after we waited 30 minutes, having been told there was a 15 minute wait, only to find out someone had scratched our names off the list without calling us, and we were left sitting outside without even an apology while they continued to call other tables.)
Very knowledgeable staff. Gluten-free menu. Delicious food.
Got glutened. :(
My food was good. They had gluten free home fries and corn tortillas in place of toast. Also had pancakes as an option. However, the service was not great, not friendly, not accommodating, and my water glass was always empty. Not worth the visit.
One of my fave places in Berkeley: always super-friendly, and despite the small space & some gluten options, the team always manages to make food safe for folks like who get sick from gluten. <3
Yes
Good and fresh but Nottingham fab decor and bill adds up fast here
Amazing locally sourced food, big portions, great coffee & latté. They were great with our GF issues, though we only had breakfast.
