Review of Veracruz Fonda and Bar

Much like all Veracruz food trucks and brick & mortars, terrible terrible terrible. If you dislike Gabriella’s, you’ll definitely hate this place too. Tough flavorless ceviche, no dedicated fryer, added tortillas on top of my entree after I asked for none (not even off to the side). To add, the server did not verify my entree was actually gluten free and just brought it out after I asked him to verify with the chef first. So there sat a $28 entree untouched. And then it sat there for an hour until finally I waived down a different server to get a box so I could give the food to my partner. We never were check and we sat at the bar. That’s how bad the service was. And it was slow with customers.
