My uncle found this place when our family was out shopping in Petoskey and needed to eat an early dinner. I was pleased to see that it was on the app already. Be warned that it is not inexpensive! However, it is delicious. Several items on the menu are marked GF. The salads are strangely not marked GF, but I didn't ask if omitting croutons would make them safe. FYI, for those who cannot have egg, the GF bun contains egg, so I couldn't try that. I got the Texan Burger with no bun and a loaded baked potato (no dedicated fryer, so fries aren't safe). Good amount of yummy food!

Had a wonderful meal here! Gluten-free choices are indicated on the menu and our server was very knowledgeable and helpful. There was not a separate gluten-free menu. I had the broiled salmon over vegetable rice. It was delicious and I had no reaction. There are several gf appetizer options shown on the menu. I chose the broiled brussells sprouts. My husband and I shared them and both of us thought they were delicious. Depending on what you order, the meal can be quite pricey but it was our anniversary so we didn’t mind splurging. Highly recommend Vernales for a gluten-free safe meal!

I ordered the Chicken & Brie which the menu reflects is served over wild rice. I informed the server that I needed to eat gluten-free and asked her to inform the kitchen staff. She immediately asked if I had Celia or was refraining from gluten because of preference. I explained that I have celiac disease and she appeared to understand well. After I ordered, she returned from the kitchen to inform me that the wild rice is not gf, but offered to substitute mashed or baked potato. It was all very good and I’m grateful that they took it very seriously and understood the restrictions required for a person With Celiac disease.

Happy to find places that offer safe gluten free food when I'm on vacation. Staff was knowledgeable and food was good. I had the shrimp tacos (which were altered to be gluten free). I just wish they would have seasoned the shrimp with something.

They had many gluten free options marked on their menu. They even have a gluten free flat bread which was really good with the olive oil pesto mix they bring to your table. If your looking for a good lunch or dinner spot in Petoskey I would suggest going here
I’ve eaten here a few times. Most everything is delicious. I do not recommend the gf pizza however because it is very tasteless and the crust is dry and powdery. The pizza sauce had no flavor either so it was probably some of the worst gf pizza I’ve had.

Had a great GF meal here, knowledgeable staff.
Our waitress, Samantha was wonderfully helpful & concerned. I have Celiac's & was very impressed. The kitchen manager, Been Kaiser, took my allergy seriously. Best gf pizza (Wild Mushroom Flat bread) I have had! 5 stars!

GF options on the menu. The flatbread was great. My son had the hamburger and was also thrilled.
Gf items listed on menu and staff is very accommodating. The gf flatbread is wonderful.
My celiac daughter had the lobster tails, Brussels sprouts and delicious GF pita bread. I'm impressed with their attention to safety.

We have a 3 year old with Celiac, and the waitstaff was extremely accommodating. The regular menu is very clear on GF options, but not much on the kids menu. Luckily, our waitress (Samantha) was great; and had numerous suggestions. If you are celiac, and find yourself in the petoskey/harbor springs area...this is a must try.

Gluten free menu with a nice selection. Can also accommodate dairy free. First gluten free bun on our trip to this area and best meal I've had in 3 days. Cider on tap and burger was delicious. Not a dedicated fryer but the steamed veggie side was also great. Steaks looked phenomenal.
