Thank you for the reviews of this restaurant on your APP when on vacation in Munich, and we loved the restaurant so much that we ate there 2 nights in a row. I had the GF Tomato Basil Pasta with spinach with Italian cheese & garlic as a side the first night. The service is excellent, and the waiters were attentive and listened to my concerns. The next night, I had a Risotto dish, and the spinach with Italian cheese & garlic. My husband had the same pasta dish with shrimp (he is able to eat gluten). Everything we had for dinner was absolutely excellent. Love this place, and wish it was near us!
Visited the restaurant as part of a tour group. Nothing on the fixed menu for our group was safe for celiacs. The waiter was amazing and kept going back and forth to check with the kitchen about ingredients, cross contamination and method of preparation. In the end, he brought me GF pasta with tomato sauce which was prepared in a fresh pot of water and with dedicated utensils. I really appreciated his patience and determination to make sure I had a suitable (and tasty!) meal.
Glutenfreie Pinsa bestellt, glutenhaltige Pinsa erhalten.
Food was safe - staff was knowledgeable. Any pizza or pasta can be made GF for a 4 € surcharge. My mom and my pizzas came out with GF flags. That said the GF pizza crust was not very appetizing. It's definitely ok, but the bottom was soggy and the outer ring of crust was mealy. The good news is that I knew for sure it was GF. Haha.
I had a lovely gluten-free margarita pizza. It was huge and very delicious! Their menu has the option to make any pizza gluten-free for 4 euros more or any pasta gluten-free for 4 euros more and they have many options of pizza and pasta. The only not so good thing is they don’t have any gluten-free desserts but as my pizza was so big I did not need one. They are unfortunately though at the weekends only open in the evening (otherwise I would eat there again before I return home) but on weekdays they are open both mornings and evenings.
