I had a great experience here! The atmosphere and service is great--I had scallops and the flourless chocolate cake and didn't feel sick at all. The server informed me that the gluten-free pasta is made in the same water as the normal pasta, so none of the pasta dishes are celiac safe (as of this review).

Our servers were very knowledgeable about celiac and confident about their ability to provide a safe meal for me! I had the mozzarella appetizer and the sweet potato stuffed ravioli (they substituted ravioli for their housemade gluten free pasta), and both were delicious!

Update: ate here again recently. They update their menu seasonally so it was different than last time. Still offer GF pasta. Just as delicious as last time.

Food was good. Menu was small but most pasta options could be done GF. Good choice for delicious food but not if you’re looking for a lot of options. Nice atmosphere in downtown Mystic.

My first experience will not be my last! Can’t WAIT to go back and try something from their limited but FANTASTICALLY DELICIOUS menu, including home made GF rigatoni. We had a large party and our server, Zoe (sp?) was attentive, helpful and informed.

The restaurant was fantastic. Our server Angel was very aware of dietary restrictions. And he was very helpful. As someone with celiac it was refreshing to see such an attentiveness to the allergy.

I greatly enjoyed my GF dinner at Via Emilia while visiting Mystic for the weekend. I have several other ingredient restrictions and the server was able to answer questions and check with kitchen staff to confirm I got a safe meal. They had homemade GF rigatoni and I was able to choose from the various sauce options. I had the short rib ragu over the rigatoni and it was delicious. Also had the Caesar salad without croutons or breadcrumbs on top and it was very tasty. I didn’t get sick after eating here and I would gladly return if my travels take me back to Mystic.

House made gluten free pasta was AMAZING!! Some of the best I’ve ever had. They also had a lot of other menu items that could be made gluten free. Our server Wendy was super knowledgeable and I felt very safe. Would highly recommend for a good gluten free and celiac safe dining experience in mystic!

I ordered the handmade gf pasta Tajarin, and it was delightful! The pasta was quite firm, but the sauce was amazing. It's so nice to have the gf option!

What a wonderful experience! The server immediately asked about any allergies at our table, and when I responded “gluten” she asked “preference or allergy?” Which I thought was very diligent. They have a woman who makes FRESH homemade GF pasta in house every morning! Server told me which sauces were safe, and my meal was amazing! I even had a GF dessert!
