I want to leave a 5 star for the amazing food and service on the rooftop restaurant Cielomar. But the way we were treated by THE ENTIRE STAFF as we we’re leaving was embarrassing. We weren’t allowed to be picked up, at the front hotel because “we cater to celebrities and we don’t want to make Floyd Mayweather mad”. Huh? I understand snobby celebrities and all, but we just spent over $200 American, on expensive food and wine and when we left we were basically kicked off the property and told to go to the road to get our car. Food was 5 star. Service in Cielomar was 5 star. Hotel/Resort staff, one star. Absolutely awful. Didn’t get sick from food. Reservations recommended. Live music Fri/Sat nights 7-9pm. Wonderful music. Horrible resort.

They have a gluten free churro that was to die for! It’s in the lounge bar below the lobby that looks out to Nido restaurant and the pools. It comes with caramel and chocolate dipping sauces and ice cream. The churro was freshly made and heavenly.
