At first I was a little hesitant, like this is too good to be true! I ordered out so that made me even more suspicious of what would go on in the kitchen, but it was soooooooooooo good!!! And I don’t feel sick! I would definitely skip this place if you are still learning the ropes of being gluten free though.
Several options on the menu for GF! I didn’t get gluten sick from my meal, but I wasn’t feeling well the next morning… I ordered the GF carbonara and it was okay. The pasta tasted like they had tossed pancetta into their house Alfredo sauce, and was nothing like how traditional carbonara is prepared. They did bring me a little GF bread roll and my own oil, and it was very good!

Welcome To Our Home Away From Home.
Overall good experience. Waiter seemed a bit “no big deal” which can cause some hesitation on trust. But overall was good. Menu options are great. Waiter shared pizza crusts are packaged ones and only noodle option is spaghetti but still good to have choices on main dish aspects. Overall, we’d pick different places first but an option.
So many gluten free choices including gluten free bread before your meal.
The bad reviews are very unfortunate, as we had such a great experience here! There are many items marked GF on the normal menu. Our server was very knowledgeable and offered GF bread with a new plate of dipping sauce when she found out I was GF. I specifically asked if they have separate water for cooking, and she said yes. I had dessert also and did not have any reaction. Our server also noted she has a “regular” who is very sensitive and eats there often.
We ate dinner here. Lots of gluten free choices clearly marked in the menu, and they had yummy gluten free bread for the table.
Do not eat here if you have Celiacs. I ordered gluten free chicken Alfredo. Two bites in I knew it wasn't gluten free. Luckily, as soon as it hit my stomach it came back up quick!!! Let the waitress know it was not gluten free, she gave me a deer in a headlights look and walked off. Never checked back at our table the entire visit. Worst experience I've had. Husband had regular lasagna, overly salted. When I ordered I made sure she knew I had celiac and needed gf. When she sat the food down, I asked to make sure it was gluten free, she assured me it was.... biggest mistake of the trip to Mayo. First day there and sick the first 2, not good.
Absolutely delicious gluten free Italian restaurant. They take great precautions to ensure safely preparing your mea. I had the mechi’s pasta dish with chicken veal garlic mushrooms and green peas mixed in a marinara and cream sauce. Absolutely phenomenal meal 😋 I have severe sensitivity and had no issues at all. 50 items on the menu are gluten free They even have a delicious gluten free Belgian chocolate cake
We are in town for Mayo Clinic and I have celiac. After a long day of doctors visits and tests we didn’t feel like going out to dinner. So I looked on find me gluten free app and found this wonderful restaurant. I ordered some crab cakes and my husband picked them up. He brought them back they were huge three crab cakes the size of hamburgers! Included was a piping hot roll! Gluten-free! It all tasted so good it made my terrible day dissolve into joy! I wish I lived around here this food was awesome.
This place was fabulous!!! We sat outside on the patios with our pups. They immediately brought us delicious GF bread! It was seriously the best we’ve ever had. We ordered two of the pasta dishes, and they were both amazing! We finished off the meal with a slice of GF chocolate cake. We absolutely loved everything about this restaurant! They had so many GF options, and everything we had was outstanding.
Tons of gf options, wonderful staff and nice atmosphere. Loved that they even had gf rolls for me (for before the meal). Unfortunately though, I got cross contaminated there. They were very knowledgeable and attentive, so I'm not sure what the cause was. The food was awesome though.
The waitress was super sweet and helped me choose a gf/df meatfree dish. The quality of the food was fine, nothing to write home about. The problem came about an hour later when IBS kicked in and I spent the rest of the night in pain. Due to the delayed reaction I’ll blame micro doses of cross contamination, not severe, but unpleasant and unfortunate.
In the past, we have enjoyed our meals and serving staff. This server seemed bored. She didn’t order what I requested. She didn’t come back to see how our food was. I had to flag her down for Parmesan. The food was not the quality I remember from previous experiences. Not sure we will be back.
Terrific Italian lunch & dinner(for all diets & diners)-many menu items & specials are/can be ordered GF, though you can’t believe it is when tasting. Kitchen and staff are food-allergy educated. Can go for a casual meal, a social, family or business gathering, or fun/special occasion. (They even have good GF rolls, pizza, & pasta). A full bar can dine in. Large wine list. Happy hour. Near Mayo-a great area for Express orders & To Go. Delicious
8.18.17 I had the GF bread, crab cakes and pizza. All of it was very good. I am a celiac visiting Rochester and would recommend Victoria's as a place you have to go to if needing a GF meal. Excellent knowledgeable staff. The left overs smell great in the fridge!!
I ate at Victoria's a couple weeks ago for the first time in about a year. If you order pasta and it doesn't look like a spaghetti noodle don't eat it!!!! My food came and it was a flat type noodle (like linguine) so I questioned the waiter who said that my food was 100% gf. It most definitely wasn't. Needless to say I spent the night in miserable pain. It's been weeks and my body still feel out of whack.
Food is spectacular!! Atmosphere is grand!! To me it was heaven because I had so many choices and I even got gf roll, yay!
GF pasta (one option for base pasta, multiple sauce options), GF pizza, GF bread served hot, knowledgeable wait staff and even GF cheesecake for dessert. So many other GF options on menu marked as such, I just didn't try them. No reaction.
