Was told by server there is a dedicated fryer and almost everything on the menu was gluten free. He knew immediately what celiac was and the precautions needed. Great experience

I was told the chip fryer is gluten free. A good majority of the items on the menu are gluten free, which makes me feel better about the safety

I use a Nima Sensor and multiple dishes labeled GF tested positive for gluten when I was there on August 4.
Their food is delicious (according to non-celiac family) but there is significant gluten contamination according to Nima Sensor. I would not eat there without being able to test.
Staff now just says the “kitchen isn’t gluten free.”

I test my food for gluten every time I go to vida cantina and it's been less and less reliable over the past year. Yesterday, everything from the meat in the tacos to the corn tortillas was contaminated with gluten. I don't think I'll be returning.

Awesome gourmet Mexican dishes. They knew how to take care of my gluten and dairy allergies. No reaction. Will return for sure.
My son got sick after gluten-free tacos. They are in the process of creating new gluten-free taco shells in-house but for right now something is wrong.

I have celiac and spoke with staff regarding this and what to order from the menu. After eating their GF enchiladas I became violently sick. I do not recommend this restaurant.

Awesome!!! Have not had any celiac issues with cross-contamination.
Yes
Lots of confusion among the servers as to whether things are cross contaminated or not. I've been told ALL the chips are gluten free without cross contamination by one person and then the next time I'm told that's not true and the next time told something completely different. If you're celiac I would be very cautious and would avoid the chips unless they are willing to cook some in new oil for you.
Super knowledgeable and great food.
I went there this summer , they said all the right things for my Gluten Allergy however 2 hours later I was very ill. I will not be back, I also found it very pricey.
Not only is this the best gluten free Mexican food I've ever had, but the best Mexican restaurant period! You wouldn't even know that the dishes are gluten free. I also have a dairy allergy and had no trouble finding anything with that limitation either. I highly recommend getting the fish tacos! Only con is that it's expensive :(.
Pretty good. Large portions. Staff understands about Celiac. Just not great. In a city full of amazing restaurants I'd rather spend my eating-out dollars elsewhere.

Delicious and incredibly thoughtful about making sure you enjoy your meal.
