Not only the view was beautiful, but the gluten free shrimp and avocado bowl was too! The nachos were also gluten free, and I was able to enjoy a gluten free beer with my meal. The food was fresh and delicious. Since they offered multiple gluten free options, I assumed they follow safety protocol.
We had a good meal here, nice flavor combos and variety. I am gf. Husband did fine with gf/df. My daughter, who can’t have yeast, was able to make a substitution without a problem. No one got sick. Menu is marked for gf. Lots of options. There is a pick-two lunch deal for $13.50. Plenty of food, brought half home. View of mountains is lovely.
Went for lunch. They do have clear gluten-free options. The menu also says that they are prepared within the gluten food areas. Just fyi before you go. I had the Caesar salad (it was not my favorite) and a Thai bowl. It was clear they didn’t have any protocol when they grabbed the regular food for my son first off the tray and then mine with the same gloved hand that he stuck his thumb in the macaroni and cheese bowl. I was fine, but it was a recipe for disaster. On an etiquette note, you should always serve the woman fist. However if the tide was turned, it doesn’t matter, you get sick who you get sick. Lastly, the food was not worth the hype or the price.
It has been hit and miss with me. I went once and the manager came and talked to me as he had a kid with allergies. Then a few weeks later I ordered their California roll, which was marked gluten-free, to go. When it arrived it wasn’t a California roll and I thought they mixed up the order and they replaced it with a California roll. I got glutened so bad. They had recently changed their recipe and didn’t update the menu or let the servers know. Apparently the roll they replaced it with initially was their only gluten-free roll, but they didn’t let the server know it was a replacement.
I had a rice bowl with grilled chicken, veggies and a peanut sauce. Delish. Service was amazing and the manager stopped by and was also very nice. He has a real understanding of the issue. My friend ordered a GF beer and was happy with it. Would have liked a cider to be available.
