Had pecan chicken with penne pasta, good and very rich! Enough left for another meal and I didn’t get sick!

This is my absolute favorite place to eat! I have not been diagnosed celiac, but I am extremely sensitive to gluten and get sick with traces of gluten. What I love about Village Café is that I can have a full meal here and feel safe about it. The Regular menu is marked for gluten-free options, the wait staff is very GF knowledgeable, and if they are unsure they will ask the owner who is almost always there. For starters, there are GF appetizers, GF bread (Toasted Udi’s with yummy garlic butter), and GF salads. They will make many of their pasta dishes with GF pasta (cooked separately), and also have many GF dinner choices. The best part - they have several GF desserts (key lime pie, Creme Brûlée, and amazing peanut butter and chocolate pie)! I’ve also had lunch here a few times and had yummy sandwiches!
