Review of Village Red & White Market

We visited while on vacation and I didn’t come prepared with enough snacks for a spontaneous trip to see the lighthouse. There weren’t many safe GF restaurants in the area so we decided we’d stop at a grocery store to pick up a few prepackaged snacks. We didn’t think that they’d have many safe grocery options BUT THEY DID! They have lots of fresh produce, jarred salsas and guacamoles (wholley guacamole brand) to choose from. They had prepackaged Boars Head (all their items are gf) meats and cheeses. They also had several King Arthur GF baking mixes, GF cereals and pastas. We were also impressed by the amount of prepackaged snacks including skinny pop popcorn, chips, fruit snacks and drinks - it really was a complete grocery store all at reasonable prices. It was literally a gem hidden in the middle of fried seafood and burger joints.
