The first time I went (since being diagnosed with celiac) the kitchen adapted the menu so that my dish came out gluten free (no sauce on my steak, salad on the side). The second time, the dish was naturally gluten free (steak and frites), and the server told me that they only use their fryer for french fries. She told me that they can make the meat or fish dishes gluten free, but I think it means forgoing the sauces on everything. This was always one of our favorite neighborhood bistros in Paris before I was diagnosed and I’m thankful I can still eat here. It’s a bit less flavorful eating here gluten-free, though, which is why it’s 4 stars instead of 5.
