Violet is a GORGEOUS little restaurant in the heart of Cap Hill, but off of a quiet neighborhood street. The interior has a cozy but upscale feeling. Open concept, with the feeling of a nice bottle house, but the homey decor of a living room. We went here for an impromptu date night and I was delighted to find out that about 95% of their menu is already or can be modified to be gluten free! It is so rare to find an upscale, small footprint spot that is so accommodating. We had the squash risotto and it was to DIE FOR. The server was extremely knowledgable and helpful in answering my questions and double checking with the chef to accommodate me. Overall the experience was fantastic and we will be back!
Fantastic date-night/celebration restaurant. Food is fantastic, and everything on the menu is gluten free except the bread, desserts included.
