Review of Violette Gluten Free Bakery

This is a dedicated gluten free facility with dairy free options as well. They have everything from pies (whole or by the slice), quiche (whole or by the slice), cakes, cupcakes, cookies, scones, you name it! I informed them of my honey allergy, and the ladies behind the counter quickly listed off three items that they use honey in, and assured me that everything else was safe. I indulged in their apple cobbler and a pumpkin cupcake and took them outside to enjoy in the beautiful autumn weather. While nothing will ever beat my grandmother's apple pie with its gluten-y crust, this cobbler was a wonderful combination of sweet and tart, and the crust held together well. The pumpkin cupcake was light and fluffy and perfectly sweet. I pass this bakery on my commute, and can see many, many more visits in the future!
