Staff was not helpful in finding an option for me with gluten and dairy. I asked for a gluten free sandwich without cheese, but she said it wasn’t possible. The waitress pretty much gave up and said that she couldn’t help me. Terrible experience and will not got to any VIPS here in Madrid.

Disgraceful. They claim to have a “gluten free” menu and it can be obtained upon request. Instead you get a regular menu with a few gluten free options. Only one staff member spoke English and she didn’t even know what “coke” was. Ordered a coke and got a bottle of water. She seemed to know what gluten free meant, but it had me very nervous after ordering. My husband ordered a regular pizza and I ordered a gluten free chicken dish. About 10 minutes later she returned to tell me they couldn’t do that dish tonight and that they had run out.... So I ordered the gluten-free nachos. Meanwhile my husband’s meal arrived. Awhile later another staff member returned to my table with the “nachos”. On the plate was regular corn chips and a small bowl of melted cheese to dip them in. I thought it was a joke. Some of the staff were sniggering and talking amongst themselves in Spanish whilst looking at us. I was very uncomfortable.We quickly finished, paid (8 Euro) for my CCS and cheese and left. If I could give this zero stars I would. I only hope all other restaurants in this chain are not this bad. The place should not even offer gluten free options if they are going to take the piss. Honestly disgusted and will never eat at one of their restaurants again.
