The staff tried really hard, and I was excited to try the pizza because others had loved it. Unfortunately the pizza base was soggy. It dissolved under the sauce. My husband had the risotto and said it was good. It felt safe, they were very knowledgeable about celiac.

One of the nicest GF pizza bases I’ve had, great atmosphere and lovely staff who made an extra effort to make sure all food was safe for me by bringing small portions of GF version of things and even changed the oil in the fryer before serving our table! Will be back.

Gluten Free marked on menu. Honestly, one of the best meals I’ve had in NZ (it’s our fourth trip). The chefs are very good, everything was cooked to perfection and very well balanced. Top marks.

Highly recommend!! The service was exceptional right from the moment we walked through the door! The owners were very friendly and extremely accommodating to my coeliac needs. They don’t have a separate menu but the owner went through and marked and explained all the options which can be made gluten free and safe for me as a coeliac. (Plenty of options). They have separate boards, ovens and cooking area for GF food. Seem very knowledgeable about Coeliac. Food was exceptional for both myself and my non GF husband. Will definitely be back. :)

Edit… came back for a second time as was so impressed with our first visit. Waiter had a clear lack of knowledge of allergies which was disappointing. I clearly said gluten free pizza base for a coeliac/allergy, and she came back 15 mins after the order was taken and asked if i wanted the whole pizza gf or just the base… 🤦🏼‍♀

Lots of gluten free options! Amazing prawns, tasty risotto, and good wine. They were also great with kids, good gluten free options for our toddler and they had some colouring and toy cars too! No highchair but we had a portable one that they were happy for us to use.

Brilliant food! Caters well for gluten intolerant and celiac. They ensured all the starters were totally gluten free, and got the lamb pasta gf as a main, which was delicious. Amazing service, Mandy (Maître’d) was warm, welcoming and very accomodating, will definitely come again!

Staff were very helpful with food allergies, there is gluten free pizza and pasta that is made gluten free. Loved having gluten free pasta again.

Lots of gf options on menu. Pasta can be made gf by using penne pasta. Staff knew what to substitute. Lovely food lovely service
