We’ve been there several times. They made a huge effort for us - brought the manager and he took our order. Pasta is being made in a different clean pot and they are well aware about cross contamination The food was really good!

The staff responded promptly to my FB inquiries and I heard good things about Vivino online and through local friends so I was ready to like this place, but I loved it. Don’t be turned off my the location next to a gas station—you can’t see it inside where the atmosphere is chic glass, low light, a gleaming bar and many plants, and there is even more seclusion in their rear garden. At Passover they do have gf bread but because they warm it in a pizza oven they said it is not safe for celiacs; this provided additional confirmation that they understood the seriousness of cross contact. When I said that I have celiac they showed me all the things on the menu that were easily prepared gluten-free and said the manager would come speak to me in English about additional precautions they would take (all dishes, pots, utensils are carefully cleaned before use with gf food preparations, they always use clean water for gf pasta, the gf pasta is a different shape, etc) but they also warned me that because the kitchen makes regular pizza there is still a chance of flour in the air. Staff speak at least three languages (I heard Russian, Hebrew and English and our waiter said he also speaks Romanian, French and German), which is always helpful, and they went above and beyond to customize the strawberry mascarpone dessert for me (it is not offered as a gf dessert although they have ice cream and a gf fudge cake) by leaving out the offending items. I liked my burrata appetizer and salmon-vegetable pasta dish. Both were flavorful, had perfect texture, and were clearly made with high quality ingredients. This place is not cheap, but no decent restaurant in Israel is. And it was worthwhile in every way.
