Review of Vivo

Not sure they deserve even one star. I was invited to a christening here and decided to call to see if they could accommodate me as a celiac. They were friendly and easy to speak with on the phone, I was confident that they would be able to accommodate a safely prepared gf dish. They said the day of the party to speak to my server about a gf dish, so I did. The server had to speak with the chef. They told me no problem. I waited and waited. Checked in with the chef and still waited. Then they told me that if I'd like to eat some of the dishes in the buffet area, some of them were gf. Umm what's the point of waiting for a dish if youre telling me to eat from the buffet? And really? There's gluten around and I'm concerned about cross contamination. I said no thank you and I would wait for a dish from the kitchen. Finally when everyone is finishing dessert, they bring out my salmon and cous cous. COUS COUS IS NOT GLUTEN FREE. Absolutely unacceptable. This place is also a wedding venue. HOWWWW??? HOWW CAN YOU BE AN EVENT VENUE IF YOU CANT ACCOMODATE DIETARY RESTRICTIONS?? UNREAL.
