Amazing Gf crepes and warm drinks! Everything here is gluten free and vegan options available too if preferred. We got the banana, chocolate and whipped cream crepe with a matcha latte to wash it down. The crepe was huge and delicious!! And honestly the best matcha latte I’ve ever had. They also offer savoury crepes and gf beer.

I recommend making a stop here if you’re in the area. The shop is small with limited seating but take away is available too.

Amazing, amazing, delicious Crapes!!! My family and I got several types and loved them all! Ham and Cheese (savory with crispy lettuce), Smoked Salmon and Cream cheese (subbing for a poppy seed crape added an amazing texture), Raspberry and Chocolate (adding the whipped cream was a great move), Banana and Chocolate a classic and absolutely fantastic. Amazing staff, the ladies make everything to order and speak English well. Limited seating and ingredients, if they sell out they will close early. Thank you so much for an amazing experience! 10/10 would recommend!

So sooooo soooo good!

The employees are very sweet and everything is gluten free. I ate the Salmond and creme cheese crepe with a coffee and everything was 10/10, heavenly. We received our crepe pretty quickly too.

I’d been looking for gf sweet treats across Japan as they are generally tricky to come by. This shop is amazing! The crepes are some of the best I’ve ever had (even before I was diagnosed with celiac)! So crispy! The staff are wonderful, accommodating, kind, and speak great English. Highly recommend!!

My daughter has been looking at all the crepe places through our travels in Japan hoping for gluten free but has found none….until we came to Kyoto. Tried Waco Crepes - absolutely delicious (and huge). Lovely service and one of the staff also spoke very good English, which was a bonus. Great coffee too.

All I can say is WOW!!!! The crepes were delicious. We tried one evening and they were so good that we had to go back and try some more. I think we tried 6 or more different varieties and all were amazing. The staff was super friendly. A definite must for anyone GF (or not GF as well). They also have many vegan options.

The savory crepes are so good we love these, we had the ham and cheese with a poppyseed crepe the first time we went. The second time we had the ham and cheese and after had sweet crepes. Chocolate and raspberry, and chocolate, banana, whipped cream. They were so delicious!! Love this place. They also have very yummy drinks ginger ales and gluten free lemon beer.

Hands down one of our favorite stops in Japan. Gluten free eaters will find Waco’s crepes a revelation. It was one of our favorite spots. Try the cream cheese and smoked salmon in a poppy seed crepe. High marks to the banana chocolate too.

Really great texture a consistency, which we all know is extremely difficult for gluten free baked goods. They do both dessert and savory crepes. A little expensive, but definitely still worth the walk over after sightseeing.

Everything is gluten free and the crepes are so good. A little bit pricier than regular crepe stores but they are generous with the fillings. You can also make most crepes vegan/lactose free by substituting vegan cheese or soy whipped cream.

Wow! Such an adorable little place! Tucked away on a tiny street, Waco Crepes was very warm and inviting. There was already a family of 5 there when we arrived, so our family of 6 was cramped into the back of the store until they were finished. The staff was very gracious and apologetic. The crepes were amazing! I had the banana whipped cream, my daughter the cinnamon whipped cream, and hubby got the salmon cream cheese. All were adorably presented in a cardboard cone with a personal message written on back. They also offered soy whipped cream and vegan cheese, if needed. It was worth seeking this little place out. Highly recommend!
