Lot’s of great gluten free options if you are gluten intolerant. Unfortunately was advised by my waiter not to eat anything with me being celiac. She said everything was cross contaminated, no protocols for gluten, and kitchen staff was rarely careful about allergens. Great gluten free options but not safe for celiacs whatsoever
I got sick after eating here. They told me everything is cooked on shared surfaces, but told me they could make an omelet in a separate pan. They said the potatoes were cooked on a dedicated grill. Obviously not all true. They were super friendly and helpful, but it wasn’t enough.
Very friendly to gluten and dairy allergies. Gf/df French toast rocks! Lots of choices here.
Great menu, mostly GF, if not then they provide GF options. My husband with celiac dz loves their food.
Ate here this weekend, the server said people who work there have celiac and haven’t had an issue BUT they do bake in house so there’s always rise since flour is airborne. I’ve found that any place who’s aware of CC is pretty good. I got the pesto quesadilla on corn tortillas and a pancake and it was great, no reaction.
I would NOT recommend this restaurant to someone with Celiac. They use the same cooking surfaces, toaster, and utensils for GF and non-GF food even though their menu has items labeled “gluten free”. The only thing besides drinks that they could guarantee was safe for me to eat was fresh fruit.
Only the fruit was truly GF
I'm not GF, and I've eaten here many times. The food is good "diner" food. Not fancy, but filling and tasty. However, my daughter is Celiac, and I tried to take her here. They basically turned us away. The hostess and another person, maybe a manager, said they can't prepare GF pancakes without cross contamination. I asked if they could make them in a skillet instead of on the grill, and they said no, they stick, it doesn't work. We left with the impression they really didn't want to serve us and weren't willing to try to find something my kid could eat.
