Review of Warung D'Atas Grill & BBQ

Delicious ribs and super helpful and friendly owner and staff who catered for my very difficult dietary needs (coeliac/ gluten free!). The owner made me ribs without bbq sauce (just with the spices and salt), and he very happily cleaned the bbq and washed the tongs and grilled my ribs separate to my partners ribs which had gluten on (the bbq sauce contains soy sauce).

He even came over to the table and showed me the sparkling clean tongs before he started cooking, so lovely to find such a willing (and talented) chef as a coeliac! The ribs were delicious both gluten free (no sauce - I added a little gluten free kecap manis which I bought with me from Australia) and for my partner with bbq sauce. Highly recommend and we’ll definitely be back next trip to Ubud.
