I was really disappointed, my husband and I have tried sushi a couple times since I was diagnosed with celiac and it has always been a disappointing experience but after reading other reviews here we thought we would try one more time. We went in to order but because of Covid there was no sit down option, only take out. They told us they could make pretty much anything gluten free so we took the menu back to our car to evaluate what I could have, then went back to order, specifying that everything had to be gluten free. They said no problem and it would be 15 minutes. When everything was ready they gave my husband the platter and said the only things she can eat are these two vegetarian rolls. We spent $70 on sushi for our anniversary and I couldn’t eat any of it. If we had known they couldn’t do it we wouldn’t have ordered what we did. I checked the receipt and it said gluten free on it so it wasn’t a miscommunication. Very sad.

This was one of my favourite spots pre-celiac diagnosis, and I’m so relieved that I can still eat here! Staff were aware of which items were GF, and even provided GF soy sauce and complimentary GF rolls!
Yes
The staff takes celiac disease seriously and will try to modify your order to suit your dietary needs. For instance, their sweet potato roll they have made without panko crumbs etc. Also give complementary gluten free rolls. However I would advise not going when it’s really busy.
