Wasabi Japanese Restaurant

We just went here and asked the chef behind the counter and he said no gluten free items available. He said the sauces have gluten and they do not have any without gluten. Tried to call during lunch hours to verify but no answer so we came to check it out ourselves.

The chef/owner will come out and talk to you about how he will make the sushi you order gluten free. My husband and I shared an order and he brought a completely separate plate our for my husband with anything that had gluten in it. Would definitely recommend!

Staff went out of their way to make a teriyaki chicken bowl gluten free and brought me a bottle of tamari.

Was very impressed by this restaurant. The sushi chef (who I am assuming is the owner) was very knowledgeable and accommodating. Great choice if you are looking for GF sushi.

The owners are very informed about gluten and even had Tamari gluten free soy sauce for my sushi. If you like sushi, this is a good place to eat and be gluten free. I had no reaction after eating there twice.
