The service was sub par. The waiter seemed uninformed about what is safe and what isn’t. They ran out of chicken and also the only gluten free dessert. The sushi tasted mediocre. Our appetizer of edamame came out with a noodle in it, which we discovered after eating some! Thankfully when I asked they said their noodles are rice noodles and gluten free (which I’m praying is true), but still unacceptable. Definitely not returning to this location (and will make the drive to Saint Charles since that location was wonderful)

Walked in and the floor was sticky, the table was dirty and the place smelled of rancid grease. We left immediately.

I go here almost weekly since I discovered they do GF sushi. Never had a single issue. Staff is great with gluten issues and I've never once gotten sick. They don't always leave the wasabi paste off, but I bring my own tube of that and just discard the one if it comes on my plate.
I LOVE the sushi here but ended up having them add tempura to my gluten free order the 4th time I came for dinner. The server was very nice about it but obviously the kitchen felt otherwise. The replacement rolls they gave us were horrible. It’s too bad not everyone understands how sick you can get if you are a celiac.
Had to change my review from 5 stars to 1. We have come here 2 times recently and BOTH times they made my sushi on the same platter as the other rolls (thus contaminating my food). I should've known better, but I have sent my rolls back and still they were remade the exact same way. I don't know what has changed in the last year since my first review but the cooks are not at all careful anymore :( Sad I can't eat here because it was my favorite sushi restaurant!!
