Waterfront Depot Restaurant

I stopped to eat here with my wife when we were driving the coast. We had dinner here and the food was great. I had the seafood bowl and it was the best meal I had the entire trip. The waitstaff is extremely knowledgeable and helpful with choosing your meal. They have amazing desserts and cakes from the bakery across the street. He told me they have an excellent GF cake in the summer. (Didn’t get to try because it was winter). The fish was extremely fresh and they had a good wine selection and GF beer and cider. The place is small so you might want to get a reservation.

I had a very positive experience here. I was with friends who wanted an upscale meal and this was the one restaurant that fit the bill. They do not have GF items listed on the menu but told me much of the menu could be made GF and they had a GF bun for their burger. The waiter was great about checking with the kitchen and fielding my questions. I ended up having a New York strip with side of mashed potatoes and greens, and it was delicious. No reaction at all. Everyone was happy with their meals and the prices were reasonable. I was very satisfied and would definitely go back.
