I asked the waiter to make sure the fries were gluten free. They responded by telling me that the fryer was NOT gluten free. So I guess they changed that within the last few months. I chose vegetables (broccoli) in place of the fries.

Felt super safe eating here, and nonceliac husband also really loved the food! We sat outside, right on the beach. Dessert was a flourless chocolate cake that was more like fudge, so decadent and delicious. We’ve already decided to come back here when we’re in the area!

We had dinner at Waterman’s twice during our trip to Virginia Beach. Great peel and eat shrimp, which my daughter enjoyed with French fries (fryer is GF).

Great restaurant! Waitress was really good about me being celiac. There were lots of gf options. I had the salmon with rice and mashed potatoes. No issues at all. We waited about 25 min for a table which wasn’t bad. They even had a flourless chocolate cake which was amazing. So good

Fabulous lunch for 4 people, 1 with celiac. Celiac enjoyed cold water salmon , cilantro-lime rice, broccoli, pineapple smoothie. Delicious meal, no symptoms. Other 3 also loved our meals. Plenty of GF options and appreciate their respect for GF needs. Would definitely return.

The best seafood joint I've been to in VA Beach so far. This is place is packed so be prepared to wait. Couple bars to sit at or a patio to wait at. Great seafood. Miso glazed salmon was excellent.

Food here was delicious. I ordered the southwest chicken salad and my non-gluten free date had one of the fish dishes. The kitchen changed their gloves and used an area of the kitchen that does not have gluten on it to make my salad. The server was great too - when I asked her to confirm that the tortilla chips on my salad were gluten free she was very accommodating! And the food was made and served SUPER fast. I would definitely go again.

I had a great experience here. My waiter seemed very comfortable with the whole celiac thing. Made suggestions and felt confident I would be safe. I was! I had a great salad with grilled salmon. The salmon was made in a separate pan, per my request. They made me feel welcome, had a great lunch, great views! Will definitely come back!

I had the endless summer salad with blackened salmon. It was delicious! This was one of the only gluten friendly restaurants in the area.

He also knew the food and drinks well to make great recommendations for our taste. He was extremely attentive and made sure we enjoyed all his recommendations.

The waitress was very knowledgeable about what a celiac could eat, and the menu was clearly marked.

I had the chicken sandwich with awesome sauce (minus the bun) and grilled vegetables. The flavor was amazing! Although they do have gf flourless chocolate cake I was too full!

This is one of the last “mom and pop” restaurants on the boardwalk. They choose local produce and seafood. I was impressed with the knowledge of celiac gluten free issues and the comfort level they gave me. I will definitely eat here again.

Very busy in a rainy evening. Front room staff was ok...not great. Valet parking was a plus. Server was super. Lots of gf options and food was delicious. Crab dip was yummy. They offer a flourless chocolate cake, but it was gooey and not great.

What an amazing experience! All the GF food is labeled on the menu. We had yellowfin tuna with a sauce, a broiled seafood platter and steamed shrimp. Very nice restaurant but it was very busy on a Monday night during the summer so make sure to allow a lot of time!

Gluten Knowledgeable but the food wasn’t good. I had the Mahi-mahi and it had no flavor at all. I left 3/4 of the dish untouched. The crab dip was good and the drinks. Overall a disappointment for the price and murmurous other restaurants to choose from.

We came for a taste of va beach seafood and got shrimp, scallops and crab and it had no taste Spent over $100 for two people and left disappointed! Service was fine food was disappointing!

Diverse gluten free menu, and great food! The flourless chocolate cake is amazing! Very careful about cross-contamination.

The restaurant itself is in a great location and is very large inside. They are often busy but when there is a wait they put you on a yelp text list that allows you to venture further along the boardwalk while you wait, which is a great feature when you have little kids in tow. We have been here twice and both times the service was as good as the view. The menu clearly indicates what items are gluten free and the servers are aware of cross contamination issues and offered excellent recommendations. Next time we visit, we will be back.

This by far was my favorite restaurant of my week long vacation - the seafood is amazing, the crab dip was to die for. The drinks are yummy too! No reservations, and it can have a long wait, but so worth it. Chips are fried in nee oil every morning and worked for me, I'm celiac

I had a very pleasant experience here. Yoko, our server, was knowledgeable and attentive to my gluten free needs. I ordered the grilled flounder with green beans and red potatoes. I even had the chocolate mousse (without the cookie crumbles) for dessert. I did not have a reaction. I would recommend this restaurant to other celiac diners.

Very good GF options. Separate GF menu. They seem to really get GF. Food was very good. Waitress was very knowledgeable about GF. Also had GF dessert.

Thankfully I noticed after ordering but before eating. Items should not be on gluten free menu, or noted that chips/fries not gf right beside item.
