Found their gluten-free menu on-line so and decided to try Weck’s for the first time since finding out I’m gluten sensitive. Ordered the original “Papa plate” which is hash browns with bacon, sausage, and diced green Chile. Really good! They brought me the gluten-free menu which was clearly marked what was “gf” and brought my food out separately from my husbands. Very good experience!
I asked for gluten free menu, had no problems. My good was delivered separately
This is a new to the area restaurant with chains in Albuquerque and Santa Fe. I was worried when I asked for a gluten free menu and the waitress wasn't sure if they had one, and at the bottom of the normal menu it said "gluten free menu available".I ordered the gluten free huevos rancheros. The description said 2 eggs, corn tortilla, chopped green chili, refried beans, hashbrowns, and cheese. When my plate finally arrived it had the green chili sauce and refried beans. I asked a floor manager who happened to be nearby to verify that the sauce was gluten free. He said no and went to replace my order. When I got my plate again it did have the chopped green chili and pinto beans. The plate had a ton of undercooked hashbrowns and green chili, but only one egg. My breakfast and coffee was $14, which was a bit much for a plate full of hashbrowns and one egg. They just opened so I am willing to try them again in a month or two.
Attentive service and knowledgeable staff. The papas are delicious and come with corn tortillas on request.
Great place with GF menu. Server knew about options & had zero issues.
