I asked for gluten free menu, had no problems. My good was delivered separately
They do have a good selection on their menu and their staff is knowledgeable but I would be cautious eating here. Everytime I've had their hashbrowns I have had a flare up. I wonder if their supplier is misleading them.
The absolute worst service EVER!!!! Two people and the waited on every one but us. coffee cups empty, and never checked on us again. wow never again.
This is a new to the area restaurant with chains in Albuquerque and Santa Fe. I was worried when I asked for a gluten free menu and the waitress wasn't sure if they had one, and at the bottom of the normal menu it said "gluten free menu available".I ordered the gluten free huevos rancheros. The description said 2 eggs, corn tortilla, chopped green chili, refried beans, hashbrowns, and cheese. When my plate finally arrived it had the green chili sauce and refried beans. I asked a floor manager who happened to be nearby to verify that the sauce was gluten free. He said no and went to replace my order. When I got my plate again it did have the chopped green chili and pinto beans. The plate had a ton of undercooked hashbrowns and green chili, but only one egg. My breakfast and coffee was $14, which was a bit much for a plate full of hashbrowns and one egg. They just opened so I am willing to try them again in a month or two.
They have a gf menu and will make sure to mark your plate indicating allergy measures. It is unfortunate you can't have chile here but I have found ordering togo or bringing your own side of chile is the way to go. I usually get huevos rancheros, no beans or a bowl of papas.
The gluten free waffles are great. I’ve had them several times. They also have several good gluten free egg dishes. I’ve never had lunch, but the menu lists gluten free burgers with no bun. Fries are not listed as GF.
I ate at Weck's this morning. They seemed knowledgeable when I talked to the staff, and (as always) I clarified that I not only needed gluten free, but was celiac, and asked them to be cautious with cross contamination. The food tasted great, but I was definitely glutened. To be clear, I am not sure if it was just the location that I ate at, where it was somehow different than others (San Mateo and Lomas), but for those of you who are like me, and checked this site without checking the street name or thought "one size fits all," Please be cautious.
