Nice food, ask for the Allergenenkarte and they will bring a menu with major allergens flagged. Fair number of things that don’t contain gluten (1) or milk (7). The servers weren’t knowledgeable about the contents of the dishes beyond the allergy menu, so ask them to speak to the chef if you want certainty. I asked about the sauces (in German) and the waiter didn’t know but said he could check.
Tip: Ask for the salad without bread as it comes with muggle bread on top of it.
Outdoor location lovely.

The food is 5 star but while they speak some English it’s not 100% easy. You need to ask for the Allergy Menu which has a letter code system for different allergens. I had the pork knuckle with sauerkraut which is amazing. You need to make sure you ask for no gravy and don’t eat the potato dumplings as not sure what kind of flour is in them. Also safe was the platter of assorted meat loaf with regular and warm potato salad. I also had the potato hot pot with bacon which was outstanding.
