The Wheatsheaf has a decent gluten free menu, however upon questioning the waitress, the chips are cooked with gluten products which ruled out 75% of the menu as there were no alternative potatoes. I had the braised beef which was lovely and came with mash. The dessert menu was limited to brownies, ice cream, sorbet or cheese. It’s a shame as it’s a lovely place and they offer GF options but they haven’t considered that we can’t eat the chips.

Chips were cooked with other gluten products even tho served on the plate. not notified by waitress until served the food.
