I want so badly to give all the stars for a dedicated GF place, but the truth is the food is just ok. It's great having a safe place to eat at and nothing I've had has ever made me sick. It's just overkill on the sauces, in my opinion. Maybe sauce on the side would be better for my tastes?
That being said, I do enjoy their fried pickles, onion rings, and cheese curds. Just the main meal (sandwich and loaded fries) have been too saucy for me and leave me with nothing but the sauce taste. In my opinion, a sauce should compliment, not overpower, the meal.
Said they were open for indoor seating...door locked. No sign. Poor exterior lighting
It was an amazing experience to have foods I haven't been able to enjoy in years. Customers around me were saying it feels like the State Fair with the options and they weren't even GF people. I loved the food and friendly service. Great option!
September 2024: We had originally gone to the Northtown location (which I think is now closed) but tried Eden Prairie Center this year and still enjoyed it.
Very pleased to have found this place while researching GF caterers! We enjoyed the poutine and the fish sandwich. Although I felt the gravy could have maybe used a little salt, it was still good gravy! And the bun had better integrity than some GF options. Will be back!
The whole menus is GF! Even have onion rings, fried pickles, and all the stuff you’d never be able to find GF
The chicken is dry. The fries are like soggy, flavorless, package potatoes, lightly fried into the shape of fries. The chicken nuggets aren’t ground up. The breading is tasteless. Really, the whole thing is bland-city. I’m confident the only reason anyone goes back is it’s gluten-free. There is more to food than not poisoning you. Find something you love! And, hey, if you do love bland, chewy, awful food - this is your place!!
Where’s The Flour is a dream for celiacs. The crispy chicken sandwich was incredible with a soft but solid bun that didn’t fall apart and juicy fried chicken that crunched all the way till the end. The cheese curds were to die for. I tried these with a non celiac who said they tasted just like gluten cheese curds. And to be able to just go to a mall and have a totally gluten free option felt so satisfying. I wish Where’s the Flour was everywhere.
This place has the best gluten-free fried food! I’ve never tasted anything else like it! The entire kitchen is dedicated celiac safe, and the staff are completely knowledgeable (All of them have experience with family members or close friends being a part of the celiac community)! Would 1000% recommend to anyone looking for gluten free fried food (or fair food)!
All GF. We ordered chicken tenders, fries, breaded mushrooms and fried pickles. We also had buffalo chicken cheese fries. All were great, though the pickles were a bit tart.
Will go back. My son was in GF heaven.
Returned for another visit and had some nof the items that were new. Onion rings were unbelievable as were cheese curds.
Delicious celiac safe food. And the best part is that it’s food that’s hard to find at most places. Deep fried…Anything from battered cheese curds and mushrooms to fish and chips. My spouse who is not gluten-free ordered a buffalo chicken sandwich and said even the bun was fantastic. Highly recommend!
While visiting my family, none of which need to be gluten-free, we drove from an hour away to visit this little place in the food court for me. The food is not healthy per se, but it is very tasty! I had the hot honey crispy chicken sandwich with coleslaw. I ate every bit! My family ate and various other places in the food court so all were happy.
Love their chicken fingers, fries and the cheese curds. I’m very excited to have a dedicated gf option in the mall. The cheese curds are a little harder than what I’m used to because the batter is a little thicker. So they are best eaten fresh while they are still warm. My husband likes the wings. Whenever we are at the mall or near the mall this is where we eat.
I had the poutine. It was very good. No issues. The place is dedicated gluten free. It is in the north town mall food court so if your with some non gf people they have many other options. For an added bonus there's a full bar in the middle of the food court so you can wet your whistle.
