Would definitely recommend for gluten free Thai! I’ve been eating here for years and they are consistently good at gluten free. I only had an issue once, where a waiter misunderstood celiac and assumed that the pad thai was gluten free because it’s made with rice noodles (didn’t consider sauces, etc.) so I ended up getting sick. Besides that incident, I am quite confident in the food!
I really wanted to enjoy it here but I got sick right away, and the food tastes awful. I got the pad Thai, and my wife got the Hawaiian pad Thai and both tasted bland, almost like plain noodles with meat. My food was labeled with caution which I appreciate but I did get sick. I wouldn’t recommend unless it’s your only option for dining!
We’ve eaten here several times in the past 3-4 years with zero issues. They are great about gluten-free and cross contamination, always get the pad Thai, the chicken wings, the chicken lettuce wraps. Pretty much everything is good, expensive but worth it because of the safety
The food was absolutely delicious and the staff was awesome - helpful and very knowledgeable on particular dishes and gave us great guidance. The tilapia panang Curry was amazing. The menu is clearly marked for what is or can be GF. They even offer a GF molten chocolate cake dessert that was divine, as well as traditional mango sticky rice. We were only passing through which is a shame. We would love to go back again and again!!
I needed a halfway point to meet up with family, so I took a risk going somewhere I'd never heard of. I hope to have occasion to return soon! Gluten-free items are clearly marked on the menu (although not the online menu?) and the server was diligent about noting food allergies. Everything arrived as ordered and we enjoyed our meal.
can't express enough how wonderful White Orchids Thai is! Fabulous server, amazing gluten free options and beautifully presented flavorful food. This foodie is HAPPY! We had a pork belly satay appetizer followed by a coconut shrimp soup, for the Mr a lobster and crab pad Thai and for me a Chilean sea bass dish. The lychee sidecar is easily the best bourbon mixed drink I've ever had. Makers mark with lychee syrup, lemon and Cointreau garnished with a lychee fruit. SO wish I could grow a lychee tree at home. I will absolutely be back. ❤
Lots of GF options and accommodating staff. I've eaten here several times and never got sick so it's a winner in my book!
