Whitney’s shares scoops and some ice cream has gluten. So it is not celiac friendly even if you ask for a clean scoop.

Review

The service that I have received at this location is unparalleled among the ice cream parlors I have visited. The staff check the allergen list, carefully wash the utensils and pull new containers of ice cream from the freezer. I am very sensitive to gluten, and the protocol at Whitey's keeps me from becoming ill. The ice cream is also very good!
