Review of Whitmore Lake Tavern

Today was our first visit after seeing it listed on this website. I have to admit I wasn't expecting much. But I was pleasantly surprised. To begin with, I asked if they had hard cider or glutenfree beer. The server said she's go check. Uh-oh. She came back saying they did have Strongbow! SCORE! We were given menus....loaded with tons of choices and MANY options for myself! As we were reading, the OWNER stepped up and introduced himself and said he was aware of the cider request and wanted me to know they offer a gf pizza and many other options on their regular menu. I chose the pizza since I don't get that often. It was a typical gf pizza. But I noted other diners dishes and they ALL looked fabulous. I was VERY happy to find somewhere I seemingly have MANY options and everyone seemed to be so personable and attentive and wanted to be helpful. I look forward to going back and trying other dishes!
