The ice cream is delicious and they have wonderful floats!
Went in last summer and ordered their lemon drop flavor. Asked if it was gluten free. The cashier didn’t know what gluten was so they grabbed the lemon syrup and let me read the ingredients. The syrup was gluten free, so I ordered a large. I got the frozen custard and there were golden Oreos in it 🤦🏼♀. I respect that they tried, but they had no idea what gluten was, and when I told them it was flour they didn’t think that I maybe couldn’t eat a cookie? They were young so I don’t blame the cashier, but the manager should be showing their employees where to find allergen information for their products. Especially if their ice cream is made in-house and I can’t look it up for myself.

Delicious GF chocolate and vanilla custard. Some toppings are GF too. They have a list of allergens for all the toppings offered. I typically avoid mixing anything inside to reduce the chances of cross contact. We eat here all the time and have never been ill.

Whit’s custard ice cream base is naturally GF and they have GF options listed on both the website and the menu. When I visited they were completely slammed with customers but took the time to read the ingredients from the packaging to ensure everything I ate was GF and I had no issues. My husband and I were BLOWN AWAY with how good it was. So light and delicious and though it was not cheap we will be back! I highly recommend this place, best ice cream in a 50 mile radius by far! Worth every penny!

I asked on a Facebook post about possibly making GF options and received a rather sarcastic and rude response.
