Before it was Amazon-owned, I shopped at this WF weekly for most of my groceries. Since then, they no longer carry many of the GF items I used to purchase, including cereals, crackers, snacks. They have substituted other cereals and snacks that have more sugar and less protein than I used to get. Fortunately there are other stores in the area that now carry more products that are GF, unlike when this store first opened.
We came here for a quick dinner and there was not 1 gluten free option, except lettuce with no protein....lots of fried foods and pasta....whole foods?
Tons of GF options here. Very Pricey though and too far away from us to shop very often. But it's a good option once in a while, when we're in the area.
Went there to pick up something ready made but was surprised by their quality and availability of buffet hot lunches to go I understand buffet can be a questionable thing for those with severe reactions BUT I had a look and nothing with gluten was nearby those GF items. I love whole foods for the fact that they have every single ingredient listed on the label so you know what you're getting. Pretty pricey though ($18 for the smallest box). But tasted good.
It doesn't appear that wholefoods employees know what gluten free means. There are not many options and they kept pointing out vegan options that aren't gluten free. Or they point in a general direction and say something like you might be able to find some pre packaged options...I couldn't.
