They make no effort to keep any prepared foods away from contamination such as placing crusty bread on top of the salad bar with crumbs falling everywhere, etc. Labeling looks promising but if you look closely they are often wrong, not matching up with actual food, many don't have allergens listed and use odd wording like graham instead of wheat. Overall, really frustrating that a supposedly healthy store makes zero effort to try and make their foods safe.
No
Be warned: the hot bar now has very few selections that are gluten free. Even the chili now has wheat in it. On a good day they will have one entree item that is gluten free. Most days though all they have is a side dish or two and maybe a soup. Most of the side dishes now include soy sauce. I spoke to customer service about this a few weeks ago. Nothing has changed.

Clearly labeled. I love the hot bar, but there are other options as well if worried about cross contamination
I love this whole foods. They have an outstanding hot bar, and all their choices have ingredient lists and list allergens. I can't speak to cross contamination as I don't know how the food is prepared, but I've never gotten sick from the food here. Lots of grocery options too, obviously.
They have a cafe area with labels for the food. It’s a self serve kind of thing so not the best for cross contamination. Only a few options were gluten free but enough to make a meal out of it. If going to get a meal with a group, this is still a good option since the store is large and has the typical Whole Foods variety. I mostly thought it would be helpful to add a review so this location shows up for others looking for food around here.

As a European resident visiting this store is amazing! So many gf options! Not only all the fresh items and produce, but dried goods, packages, quick/ready meals. Wonderful! Everything is stacked on the shelves with the rest of those items (no separate gf section) which I like too. I can shop for the whole family at the same time, not everyone else… and then me.

I hate coming here because it’s so big. You would think they would have gobs of gf stuff, but they have little and it is spread out everywhere and side by side with gluten counterparts. Please keep my gf stuff AWAY from the gluten stuff. I spend way too much time trying to find everything, and I feel like compared to Sprouts or Natural Grocers that they have the least knowledge employees and the HIGHEST prices. I also would never eat something from their lunch area because it’s a mess. No way I'm chancing that.

Don’t go out of your way thinking they will have GF food. It’s slim pickings. Among the fewest grocery options I’ve seen in a Whole Foods.
