This is our favorite restaurant in Door County. We’ve been coming here for years. This week we ate there on our annual trip and loved it! We are both gluten free, but I am also dairy free. Our server, as always, was very knowledgeable and so friendly. He helped us with the menu and we were able to get all the items we’d hoped to get (dairy usually nixes a couple). From the mussels to a salad to vegetable sides and an entre of chicken and wild rice, it was all amazing. The finale of Cabernet sorbet was the icing on the GF cake. Love this place! We’ve never had any issues eating here (we’ve definitely had issues at other DC restaurants).

Food was great & they were very educated. I was asked if a shared fryer was okay (it’s not) & the extent of my GF needs - they said they’d use a completely separate, clean space because I have celiac disease. When food was brought out, they were incredibly clear as to which items were & were not safe for me, even though I only ate the ones I personally ordered. I would definitely go back! The food was great, setting was beautiful, I felt very safe and did not get sick.
