Review of Wild Goose Tavern

We enjoyed our meal at Wild Goose Tavern and I am confident it was gluten free. However, the waitress was unsympathetic and kept challenging me to whether I knew what contained gluten and what didn't. I have celiacs, so I am pretty aware of what I can and can not eat, and was surprised and quite frankly turned off by her attitude. I did have words with the waitress when she said that a sauce that contained gluten would be included on my plate, but I didn't want anything put on my food that could potentially get me sick. So, the sauce was removed. I had the chicken entree which was good. We called ahead which was the right thing to do because it allowed us to walk right in....otherwise, we would have had a wait. Overall, a good experience and the staff seemed knowledgable, but maybe a little too much so. Nevertheless, I had a good meal and I didn't get sick. Always a key!
