Tortilla chips are made offsite and should be safe (corn tortillas) but they don’t guarantee that there couldn’t be cross contamination.
Every protein except the beef options (due to the marinades) and the carnitas (they add a beer in the cooking process) are safe.
Will update otherwise if there is an issue but our GF boy seems to love the chips so far.
I didn’t see much online for this place but when I arrived, the server (Pietra) knew about gluten free food.
She said that they have a few celiacs who frequent the place. The chips are fried safely (no gluten in the chip fryer).
I was told I could not have the carne asada because of the soy sauce in the marinade (a good sign that they know what they’re talking about bc they know soy sauce is not gf). Also was told not to try a margarita that others at my table had ordered as the agave was not gf.
I had a carnitas taco with beans and rice and felt pretty normal the next day! (I did have one BM that was a little off but it didn’t feel like my usual celiac response and felt like it might have been some sensitivity to the spicy nature of the salsa on the taco).
