How would you rate the taste and quality of the gluten-free food you tried?

The only truly comfort-food gluten free meals I’ve ever had. Usually ‘heavy’ and ‘gluten-free’ don’t belong in the same sentence, but this place is the exception, in the best of ways.

I don’t want to talk down on a 100% gf restaurant, but the batter they use is missing some flavor. I’d eat there again though!

Walkable distance from 6th street and DELICIOUS main dishes. The server checked on me frequently. The baked goods were disappointing (I've been spoiled by an unusually good local bakery.) I will definitely make this a go-to stop when I visit Austin.

Whole kitchen is gluten free. Our journey began with the bakery which is incredible. A bit dicey with dairy sometimes but overall the products are dreamy. Delicious and safe. The food at the restaurant is solid. It’s not a gastronomical masterpiece, but you can get solid American fare at a decent price with absolutely NO worries. Which is priceless.

Omg, it was scrumptious. I had the Grilled chicken burger with hand cut fries. My mouth was in heaven and my heart full. I haven't had a burger and fries in forever. It was so well seasoned and everything blended together wonderfully. And the fact that everything was gluten safe?? I could cry thinking about it.

I was elated that they were able to bring me hot water. Hot water aids digestion and helps calm the central nervous system. Not alot of restaurants have that surprisingly.

Great American Bar type food with a little Mexican thrown in as well. The onion rings and queso and chips were great. The chicken fajitas were just okay. The atmosphere was nice and service was great! I will be returning before I leave Austin to try the calamari and get some more onions rings. Such a treat to be able to order anything on the menu without concern. My non gluten free husband got a burger, he stated it was good. My non gluten free kids got the chicken tenders and they were good as well.

Update - finally had the breakfast buffet. Yes the food is pricy, yes the food isn’t spectacular (still good tho) but to have a place be 100% GF is the best! No anxiety over cross-contamination. Super super friendly staff. They checked up on us every 10min (tho I’ve had slower service during busier dinner hours). Older - 100% gluten free. The French toast is super good!

After a few low ball questions didn't seem like they could reliably handle cross contamination with allergies other than gluten. Maybe it was just that it server was stoned AF and the kitchen is fine. I didn't want to risk it so I went elsewhere.

If you are in Austin and gluten free or have celiac (I am celiac) do yourself a favor and go here! It’s a smaller place- kind of hole in the wall feel. It’s a 100% gluten free restaurant-everything on the menu is gluten free so you can feel safe eating here! (They do have non-GF beer but as far as could tell thats the only gluten in the place!) The fried onion rings were simply amazing. All of the menu options looked delicious-burgers with amazing sounding topping combinations, tacos, chicken fried steak!! I got 3 tacos- all were amazing- the pastor was the best pastor taco I’ve ever had and the fried shrimp were so good. Their corn tortillas are handmade each day. I am only visiting Austin for a few days but I will likely end up here a second time because the food was so good and everything is gluten free! Their bakery items looked great too! They also have daily deals and happy hour deals. Great service, friendly staff. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Loved this place! Every single item on the menu is gluten free! We ordered onion rings (which were crunchy and delicious), a burger (patty was overcooked and the bun was a little crumbly, but good) and fries. They were a little understaffed, so we had to wait for our food, but the waiter was very nice and apologetic about it. Overall, great place.

I don't want to knock anywhere that's 100% gluten free because I appreciate their existence in the universe. But... Sunday brunch was a weird experience. It's just sort of a weird ambiance inside, kinda dark and sad. And while the food was fine it didn't really taste like much-- kind of a frozen foods section feel? If you're looking for a place for a special occasion maybe go somewhere else. If you want to eat a lot of food with your mom after church this is your spot.

GF Safety wise, this place is a dedicated facility, which I always appreciate. But I have to agree with other reviewers, the food is kind of bland. Onion rings were good, but the rest was pretty boring. Also, the flies were out in force when I went, so that was a bit annoying. Still enjoyed eating out though.
