Great date spot with good service and not-too-bright lighting. Their fryer is gluten free and the server and kitchen staff understand food sensitivities. I had the burger with polenta instead of a bun and it was wonderful. My friend and I also shared the fried chicken, fried broccoli, and fries. They don't accept reservations as it's a pretty small spot so your best bet is to scoot in early on a weeknight.
Small neighborhood restaurant was a pleasant experience. As a celiac, I’m hyper sensitive to gluten and just about everything there was GF, including the fries. I had a burger with a polenta base and it was delicious. I could even eat the leftovers the next day of my husband’s fried chicken, as all their breading is GF. I’d go back again when I find myself not too far from the airport.
Very cautious for gluten free folks. Most of the menu is GF and use separate fryers.
