Advised restaurant of coeliac disease. Explained the seriousness of the allergy. Garlic bread was brought out and we were advised it was GF. After a slice was eaten, the waitress brought out another garlic bread (she looked white as a sheet) and explained they’d brought out the wrong one. For clarity, the restaurant had done all the right things up to this point. Nice service from the waitress and they even came out to double check the order. But there is no excusing the mistake. We were the only table in the restaurant. We don’t understand how they went wrong when there were no other orders to fulfil. The mistake was made by the kitchen and there are clearly no visual indicators to show whether dishes are allergen free or not. Visit with caution.
