Overpriced, overpromised, and underdelivered. Contacted the restaurant before visiting and receive a list of selections from the dinner menu (full list below). As I discovered while ordering, this list was wrong. The menu didn’t have any allergy designations. They do not have a dedicated fryer and that ruled out anything fried immediately.
Snacks: Chips / Almonds / Jamon / Cheese / Pickles
Appetizers: Tartare / Oysters / Shrimp
Soups/Salads: Soup sans Bread / House / Fred's / Caesar sans croutons
Plates: Salmon / Moules / Fish-n-Chips / Steak Frites / Chicken
Sides: Side Salad / Broccolini / Greens / Squash / Mushrooms / Potatoes/ Frites
Dessert: Soft serve ice cream / sorbet
I was really looking forward to the Fish-n-Chips, but they fell into the fried category. Attempted to order the Tartare and Oysters, both were not safe options. The Tartare’s dijonnaise was not safe and the Oysters were fried.
I ended up ordering the Rotisserie Chicken based on the server’s recommendation and Broccolini. The chicken was juicy, but smaller than expected. The broccolini was supposed to come with chili and lemon, but instead showed up with confit garlic and cheese. It was not a pleasant taste.
Fortunately I am only in town visiting, so I won’t have to decide whether to try again. I’d avoid until they get things figured out.
