Review of William Penn Inn

Everyone claimed to be knowledgeable about celiac disease and all food allergies. They said the chefs follow proper food handling procedures. I asked them to check several times to make sure the meal I had selected was gluten free. They assured me it was. I had to leave my dads birthday celebration early because I felt it coming. I had gotten glutened by something they had promised was gluten free. My mom called to complain and asked for an explanation and they found out eventually that the server was mistaken in promising me that the entree option I had selected was gluten free and there was in fact gluten in the potatoes I had chosen. Disappointed doesn’t cover it. They didn’t even try to make it right. Feeling betrayed by a big name in the area.
