In the past the Woodwinds was always my favorite restaurant, lately not as much. We stopped in for a late lunch, and it was not crowded. We went to sit in a booth, in which the bench seat was wet. The waitress overhead me tell my husband, that it was wet. She yelled over to me, that I could take the roll of paper towels off the table top, and dry the seat off. Really? The food is very good, all the time. I had the fried shrimp basket with fries and coleslaw, generous tasty portions. My husband had the Texas burger with fries, and enjoyed his meal.
The restaurant took the senior portions, off the menu permanently. The elderly couple who sat, behind us mentioned it to the waitress, who said she was new and didn't know anything about it. They had to order a turkey meal and share it. When they asked, which vegetables were being served? The waitress said, she didn't know. All she had to do was ask the cook. The Woodwinds needs to hire, experienced waitresses, or spend more time training them.

Woodwinds has good food but I am not sure about cross contamination. The only bread option is lettuce wraps and a lot of there food is ineatible for gluten allergies and celiac desis.
