Woodman’s just got the full line of Antonina’s baked goods. I’m talking buttercream cakes, cupcakes, and muffins that are ALL PHENOMENAL!!! I had their cakes several years ago out in California and have dreamed about them since. Recently tried the blueberry & choc chip muffins and both were excellent. Do yourself a favor and get to the frozen gf baked goods up by the bakery to try these amazing treats!!!!!!!
Holy Nike, batman! They have a HUGE gluten free selection. Brands I've never heard of. Items I've never seen. Crazy wide selection! The photos show their gd sections. These don't include things like pretzels, bars, ice cream, rice cakes, and more. Tons of selection!
4 stars because the only credit card they accept is discover. Didn't realize those even existed anymore. I had to scramble to pay since I didn't realize my usual firm of payment was worthless there until I got to the pay part of the check out process 😒
There is now a sign on one of the shelves in isle 19 that says there are gf items in isles 19 and 20 and also in the frozen section of the bakery. The signs which hang from the ceiling telling what's in each isle say "gluten free" for isle 19, and "natural foods" for 20. I'm not from the area, or a big city so I'm not used to seeing so many brands and types of products. I don't know how another Madison store would compare. I don't think I've ever seen gf ice cream cones before. (I didn't try any because I just have my ice cream in a bowl.) They had Pamela's products, Lundberg- and DeBoles-brand pasta, Van's gf crackers, and much, much more.
Lots of options, much of which is in two convenient aisles (one dry, one refrigerated/freezer.) Don't stick to those, though - there are really good GF items all over the store, including some of my favorites (Udi's, Canyon Bakehouse) in the bakery, but no signage to say so!
Great place to find gluten free foods...ignore the wierd people. Amys brand is delicious, so is the Glutino brand pizza. I found it easy to shop w/a couple isles for gluten free and vegan.
So many GF options. Whole dedicated aisle. Be aware that they started placing natural pasta next to gluten free. Also check out the refrigerated aisles! Fresh GF pasta is there and also GF corndogs. More conventional foods that are GF (like Oreos or Kraft Mac and cheese) are in the regular aisles
