Review of Woodman's of Essex

Perfect place for a celiac family dinner. Our vegetarian daughter had sweet potato fries, cole slaw and a slice of watermelon. I had fried clams for the first time in a decade and they were even better than I remembered! Also the fried scallops were wonderful, and the fish and chips were good. Being New England, there was malt vinegar among the condiments, which is not gluten free. The staff understood right away and gave us a little cup of apple cider for our gluten free French fries. We will definitely go back next chance we get.
