Went as part of a Xmas function, was assured they can cater for coeliacs. Served my "prawn cocktail" starter with what I initially thought was shredded prawns, turns out it was seafood sticks. After throwing up and checking with them they were shocked that seafood sticks, that had been purchased from Asda, contained gluten. I was absolutely livid, had to go home early and spent the next day recovering. No offer of refund, and my colleagues heard bar staff questioning why I would eat seafood sticks if I know they contain gluten - I genuinely didn't expect to be given them in a PRAWN salad (it literally had one prawn on top of the mashed bit). They also said they cater for gluten free all the time - yeah we'll probably not a coeliac or maybe a silent sufferer 😭 If you know you are catering for a specific illness please check ALL ingredients.
