Wrights Traditional Fish & Chips

This is a traditional fish and chip shop, justifiably proud of its gluten-free offering. I saw the potatoes fried in a separate vat, the fish with the gluten-free batter was fried in the same vat- and the non-gf fish was fried separately. The guys behind the counter knew their stuff about gf food.

Portions are generous- large means large! This shop is located just outside the centre of the town of Saffron Walden- an easy 15 minute walk from the centre if you don’t have a car.

Important: there is no seating inside. It is a takeaway but there are a few seats outside.
